Project overview

Tir Coed will work with disadvantaged people, encouraging a wide section of the community and vulnerable groups to value the countryside and natural environment. Work-based training and volunteering opportunities will be offered to develop the social and vocational skills of vulnerable groups, with a range of training days, outreach days and various activities for the wider community to increase community cohesion, whilst providing an improved woodland resource to increase access for community use.
