Flying Start: Located on the Isle of Sheepey, North Kent The Project is to create a national focal point on the Isle of Sheppey based on the original buildings that formed Britain's first home of aviation and which have, since 1947, formed part of Standford Hill Open Prison. The aims of the project is to create tourism and learning opportunities for the low skilled and offenders from the prison.
