Project overview
Huntington's disease is a devastating neurological disorder which has a duration of 15-30 years. It causes physical, emotional & psychiatric disability which profoundly alters the person affected and directly impacts on the quality of life of whole families. There is significant evidence to show that people caring for someone with Huntingdon's disease experience a very high incidence of mental health problems, are socially very isolated and have to cope with severe economic pressures.
