Age Concern Somerset has been granted £58,109 to recruit and train volunteers from Taunton Deane to guide older residents towards Age Concern's information, advice and advocacy services as well as signposting to services run by other agencies. Over three years, the grant will pay for a worker and will cover recruitment, rent and running costs. Also funded will be training for staff, volunteers and beneficiaries, management and accommodation costs.
