Project overview
Southern Africa is home to about 30% of the world's total number of people living with HIV & AIDS. In 2003, approximately 3. 2 million people were newly infected with HIV in the region and 2. 3 million people died. This project will help thousands of people affected by HIV/AIDS, including an estimated 50,000 orphans and vulnerable children who will be able to receive care and support, including integration into families.
