Time Banks UK links & supports local time banks across the country, providing info, training & support. Time banking is form of community currency, using time as a medium of exchange. 1 hour of active citizenship equals 1 time award & can be redeemed for an hour of someone else's time. Volunteers are also beneficiaries & vice versa. This is a development of grant MJ/1/010017513 to mainstream time banking into all communities & create a sustainable network for future development.
