Stoke-on-Trent City Council's play portfolio application will address five key needs: greater tolerance in local communities; safer neighbourhoods for children to play; accessible and inclusive play opportunities; more challenging play opportunities and recognition of barriers which prevent some groups of children from playing. The portfolio of projects will benefit 6,503 people, including deprived children, BME groups, the gypsy and traveller community, and the families of disabled children.
