Barnardos will continue its current 'Helping Hands' project in Cumbria, which helps support family learning in the home. Funding will be used to employ a range of workers who will visit families in their homes, enabling parents to engage with their children in learning and aiding communication within the families. The project will also take place in some local community centres.
