Operating across Bolton and Bury, the Growing Together project will provide a local environmental learning experience for people of all ages and abilities. The project, which will build allotments where families can learn practical skills growing their own produce, will also create wildlife gardens, plant fruit trees and install insect nesting boxes to conserve the local flora and fauna. The scheme will also fund special visits to community farms.
