Enabling Torture Survivors in Scotland to Access the Support they Need - Project
Project overview
This project will provide a service to enable refugee families and individuals who are survivors of torture to rebuild their lives and engage in activities to integrate in their host communities in Scotland. It will provide specialist clinical family therapy to families and provide advice and specialist training to voluntary and statutory health providers and other agencies. The grant will fund interpreting, salaries, travel, volunteer costs, clinical supervision, training and a PC and workstation.
