Oxford MIND promotes the preservation of mental health and assists in rehabilitating those suffering from mental disorder or emotional/mental distress. The 'Benefits for Better Mental Health' project aims to build upon a fifteen-month pilot scheme. It will provide a specialist outreach based benefits advice service working directly with mental health agencies in Oxfordshire. During the 5-year programme it is anticipated that 3,000 people will benefit from access to high quality welfare rights advice.
