The project will use funding to improve playgrounds at four primary schools by re-marking areas for outdoor games and sports, and by creating activity trails and adventure areas. The schools are located in areas with few play and sports facilities and have basic playgrounds, which limit the range and quality of activities possible on them. The schemes will encourage physical activity, promote skills and strength, and will benefit 1,379 pupils from the schools and 345 children from the wider community.
