Barnardo's will provide co-ordinated, tailored support to 600 young parents in Wrexham and Flintshire focusing on those aged 14 to 25, primarily who are most vulnerable. Using approaches such as a one stop shop service, peer mentoring and advocacy the project will develop their practical, personal and parenting skills as well as the emotional and mental resilience required to make the transition from adolescence to adult and parenthood.
