The project aims to provide work experience opportunities and support for people who are disengaged from the labour market through entry-level jobs in a variety of roles in a furniture recycling social enterprise. The project will benefit 84 people through supported volunteering and six-month sheltered work placements. Clients will be supported to move into open employment, further education or training. The grant will fund salaries, organisation overheads and the costs of part-time work placement posts.
