A project to engage 500 neighbourhood volunteers of all age groups to contribute their time and skills support for over 600 older people across the Isle of Wight. Each volunteer will earn care time credits in exchange for carrying out a variety of tasks to help older people, such as, shopping, odd jobs, repairs, IT help, and advocacy support with helper agencies. The care credits will then be saved into a Care Pension for whenever the carer or their family need support in the future.
