Project overview
This project supported by the University of Leicester will aim to determine the barriers to regular exercise, which individuals from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities face, and how they can be overcome. The applicant states that a high proportion of the West Midlands population is overweight compared with the national average, particularly individuals from BME communities. The project will work with 200 health-deprived adults to address the barriers to participation.
