This is a project to enable young people to have formal training to become health advocates. The health advocates will work with young people individually and in group sessions with sessions targeted to specific health issues such as sexual health. Health Advocates aged 11-17 will be engaged through three local high schools to provide a service to those who are at greatest risk of dropping out of the education system and becoming Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET) through health inequalities.
