Improving health and saving children's mothers' lives in Sierra Leone
Improving health and saving children's mothers' lives in Sierra Leone - Project
This project in Sierra Leone aims to improve the health of 22,000 children and 3,100 pregnant women by updating the skills of health workers through training and workshops in the areas of neonatal care and childcare. It also seeks to improve the management and delivery of healthcare services. Community Health Committees will be formed in 17 communities that will hold the District Health Management Teams, who are responsible for delivering and managing local healthcare.
