The new centre will have its own rented premises and will employ a number of new staff to provide a range of services, including: drop-in facilities, gender specific counselling, transgender training, social support and social activities. It will support people living with a transgender identity by helping them to cope, increasing confidence and self esteem and reducing isolation. Support will be provided to the families. Training will be provided for professionals.
