The project will introduce eight new Singing for the Brain groups across the Devon and Cornwall. Singing for the Brain provides a structured group singing activity, designed for people with dementia and their carers. By participating attendees receive many health and social care benefits, including the prevention of social isolation. Even when many memories are hard to retrieve, music is especially easy to recall.
