The Lochinver Mission project aims to redevelop a disused fisherman's mission and turn it into a sustainable community hub. By combining a visitor centre with accommodation and a cafeteria it is hoped tourism will benefit while also creating jobs, training opportunities and wealth for the local economy. Violaine Roberts who has experience in setting up her own award-winning leisure business is the project's Village Champion.
