Recession 2 - Parents Advocacy - Project

Project overview

This is a two year project to provide a part-time advocate to support parents with mental health issues, who are at risk of having children removed from their care. The project will ensure the clients understand child protection processes, that clients' needs are met to help them carry out their parenting role, and help the clients through the court process if necessary. The money, over two years, will pay for the salary of a part time advocacy worker, staff expenses, and management and office overheads.
