Project overview

The group provides a day care facility for dependent elderly people offering services including, but limited to, bathing, chiropody and craft activities. The group also provides a retail facility, which is supported by donations, offering advice on benefits, housing, finances and decorating services. The project will increase volunteer participation in these services and provide IT training for unemployed and people finishing new deal programmes.
