The grant will be used to transform an eight-acre area of Birchwood and adjoining peat land into a breathing place. The breathing place will be cleared of rubbish, a bark chip path will be created in the woodland and continue as a boardwalk winding through the peat land. A seating area, viewing points, information panels and bird boxes will also be introduced.
