The funding from this grant will be used to develop and deliver two new activities, which will enable primary school children to learn about their native woodlands and take practical action to conserve and enhance the habitats of native flora and fauna. These activities will take the form of a series of organised day trips in which the children will benefit through a learning by doing approach to nature, planting and encouraging animal life.
