Encouraging Participation in Gedling - Project

Project overview

This project will purchase tools for local Wildlife Trust volunteers to use in work parties at three nature reserves in the Gedling (Nottinghamshire) area. These parties will be coppicing sycamore and hazel trees to improve biodiversity at the reserves. The project will teach volunteers tree and bird identification, hedge laying and field instruction from a trained employee of the Wildlife Trust.
