The project will benefit young offenders aged 16 to 17 the majority of whom will have mental health or addiction issues. The project will develop and implement an Adult Placement Model where beneficiaries will be supported in family homes by people who are accredited and recruited as mentors. The beneficiaries will live in the mentors home. The mentor will be trained to provide personal and development support to the beneficiaries. The grant will pay for salaries, travel expenses and other project costs.
