Project overview

With help from a Lottery grant the South East West Region of the Embroiders' Guild will run a travelling exhibition and workshop programme in support of its centenary theme - making visible. Free workshops will be run over 18 weeks of the exhibition covering a wide variety of topics to teach traditional skills in a modern context and will include decorating buttons, beaded bods, little figures for brooches and making an Indian purse.
