'In The Mix' - Project

Project overview

The aim of this group is to educate and uplift young people through performing arts and cultural based education. The group will organise and deliver a programme of events to celebrate Black History Month. They will put on a specially devised play and set up work shops for the month of October. Workshops will include carnival instrument making, African storytelling and drumming. There will also be an educational seminar on Black History for older teenagers.
