Horticulture programme - Project

Project overview

The Shaw Trust provides work experience placements for people with learning difficulties or those that are long-term unemployed. The project will expand the landscape and gardening project to take on more volunteers. An award will pay for health and safety equipment such as protective clothing, knapsack sprayers and strimmer harnesses. This will give volunteers the chance to learn on the job skills and provide a vital service to elderly and disabled people in the local community.
