Word Up - Project

Project overview

This group promotes education and provides leisure activities to improve social welfare. The project will deliver two ten week courses that will engage local young people in creative sessions to develop literacy skills. The course will inspire participants through rap, song-writing, poetry and drama to support extra-curricular learning activities and raise English language standards. The accredited project will culminate in an end of course show.
