Sir John Hits Town! - Project

Project overview

This museum will establish an exhibition featuring a portrait and related articles of Sir John Lenman, former Lord Mayor of London and benefactor of Beccles. These items will be loaned from the Victoria and Albert Museum, and a new display case is necessary to house the collection. The group will develop online resources for schools, encouraging pupils to take an interest in learning local history. This project will advance public knowledge and promote the activities of the museum to the wider community.
