Project overview

The funding will be used to create an oral history project based on the memories of people living with dementia. The project, a partnership between the cinema's dementia trained staff, Liverpool university, dementia sufferers and their carers, will be a celebration of everyday life. It will also help delay the advance of dementia, raise self-esteem and enhance relationships between those living with dementia and their carers. It will also become a valuable resource for public and professionals that can be accessed via the University or public libraries.
