Project overview

Women's Resource and Development Agency, based in south Belfast, is using a £476,090 grant to fund their 'Maternal Advocacy and Support' project over the next three years. In partnership with Aware NI the project works with more than 200 women from women's centres across Northern Ireland to develop a network of peer support groups for those experiencing perinatal mental health (PMH) issues and provides workshops aimed at promoting positive mental health, building relationships and tackling isolation.
