Project overview

The funding will be used to cover the core costs of running a community transport scheme, where rurally located people, particularly older people, will be provided with transport by volunteers. They will be able to attend GP surgeries and shops, with occasional day trips with others, with the aim of reducing loneliness and isolation and promoting wellbeing.
