Tackling the issue of Welfare Reform and Hate Crime - Project

Project overview

The project will provide weekly advice and support sessions for asylum seekers and refugees. Funding will provide peer support, welfare benefits advice, guest speakers on hate crime, in order to enable participants to identify instances and report them. In turn this will help prevent radicalisation and improve their circumstances. Money from the funding will go towards rent, travel expenses, facilitator fees, stationery, publicity materials, Public Liability Insurance and communications.
