Health For Uplifting Longsight - Project

Project overview

The project aims to encourage local people to adopt healthier lifestyles. Funding will be used to create a kitchen in which young people will be trained in healthy cooking and living before going on to prepare a community meal. It will also be used to run weekly yoga and speed-walking activities for local people of all ages, deliver a local health awareness campaign, and host a community day with stalls providing information on health, education and safety as well as activities for children.
