Close Encounters - Project

Project overview

The organisations will use the funding to share, unify and build sector capacity to enhance the quality of life of lonely and isolated older people within the communities of Portsmouth, Havant and Gosport and surrounding areas. The partnership will be led by Age UK Portsmouth, alongside Gosport Voluntary Action. Support will be tailored to each individual based on health, location, finances and housing situation. It will be driven by the beneficiaries themselves through triage and guided conversations.
