Who can apply

Types of organisations that can apply

You can apply if your organisation is a:

  • constituted voluntary or community organisation

  • constituted group or club

  • registered charity

  • charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)

  • not-for-profit company

  • community interest company (CIC)

  • community benefit society

Board or committee member requirements

To apply, your organisation must have at least 2 board or committee members who are not related. If you're a company, you must have at least 2 directors who are not related.

We consider people to be related if they are:

  • married or in a civil partnership

  • in a long-term relationship or live together

  • related by blood or through a partner

Majority of leadership from Global Majority and racially minoritised communities

Because of the purpose and aims of this funding, we need the lived experiences of Global Majority and racially minoritised communities to be represented in your board or committee.

They have the experience and expertise needed to make sure this funding supports their communities appropriately.

This means you must have a majority of board or committee members who are part of Global Majority and racially minoritised communities.
