Who can apply

You can apply if your organisation is a:

  • funder
  • not-for-profit company
  • company and registered charity
  • charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)
  • community interest company (CIC)
  • school (as long as your project benefits and involves the communities around the school)
  • public body (like local authorities, town, parish or community councils)
  • community benefit society (registered with the Financial Conduct Authority)
  • co-operative society (registered with the Financial Conduct Authority)

Board or committee member requirements

To apply, your organisation must have at least 2 board or committee members who are not related. If you’re a company, you must have at least 2 directors who are not related.

We consider people to be related if they are:

  • married or in a civil partnership
  • in a long-term relationship
  • related by blood or through a partner
  • living at the same address

If you’ve had funding from #iwill Fund before

It’s ok to apply for this funding if you got funding from the first strand of #iwill Fund 2025. But your application for strand 2:

  • cannot duplicate or match fund what we’re funding you to do under strand 1
  • must fit the criteria for this strand listed in ‘What we fund’
