#iwill Fund 2025 - strand 2

  • Project location: England
  • Amount: £30,000 to £5,000,000
  • A decision in: 26 weeks
  • Programme status: Open to applications

This funding is for work that helps young people in England address the issues that matter most to them and their community. We call this youth social action.

We’ll fund work with young people up to 20 years old, or up to 25 if they have additional support needs.

You can apply if you are a funder, and want to use this money to give out funding to others. Or you can apply to run activities directly with young people.

Funding priorities

We’ll only fund work that will:

  • create opportunities for young people to take social action
  • help young people get involved, and stay involved as they grow up
  • reach young people who have not taken part in regular social action activities before
  • give young people a say in the work you do, and in running your organisation

We’ll also prioritise work that supports young people experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination.

We’ll only fund work that helps achieve one of our missions. For details of our missions see ‘What we fund’.

How much funding you can ask for

You can apply for between £30,000 and £5 million. We have a total of £20 million funding, and expect to fund 15 to 20 organisations.

You must finish the activities we fund by 31 March 2030.

You must have match funding for the work we fund. But unlike previous strands of #iwill Fund, there’s not a fixed amount of match funding you need. Find out more in ‘What you can spend the money on’.

Application deadline

Apply by midday, Wednesday 19 November 2025.
