Young Start – Small Grants funding
This funding is for organisations in Scotland that:
- support children and young people aged 8 to 24
- want to learn how to involve them so they can:
- influence decisions about your organisation, its activities, or services
- choose when and how they're involved
For example, they might:
- work on a project, including the idea, design and delivery
- decide what activities happen and how they run
- share ideas and feedback that leads to changes
- get involved at all levels of your organisation
You can apply for between £300 and £20,000 to fund a project that runs for up to 1 year.
If your organisation already involves children and young people, see Young Start – Main Grants.
We worked with children and young people to design this funding. It focuses on what matters to them and how they want to be involved.
Outcomes your work must meet
The work we fund must meet 2 outcomes:
- involve children and young people in ways that benefit them
- improve how your organisation works with children and young people
