Who can apply
You can apply for this funding if your group:
- has received mentoring from the Egin programme
- has completed an action plan
Organisation types that can apply
Your organisation must be one of the following:
- a registered charity
- a voluntary or community organisation
- a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)
- a co-operative society with a not-for-profit clause
- a company limited by guarantee with a not-for-profit clause
- a community interest company (CIC)
- a community benefit society
- an unregistered voluntary or community organisation
- a town or community council (with strong support from the local community)
- a school (if the project involves and benefits the wider community)
- a faith-based group
Partnerships can apply
We welcome applications from partnerships. But the lead organisation must be one of the types listed above.
What your organisation needs in place
To apply, your organisation must also:
- have at least two people who are not related on your board or committee
- have a UK bank or building society account in your organisation’s name, with at least two unrelated people who manage the account
What we mean by ‘related’
We consider people to be related if they:
- are married or in a civil partnership
- are in a long-term relationship or live together
- are related by blood or through a partner
- live at the same address
