How to apply
To be eligible too apply, you must have done both of the following:
- received mentoring from the Egin programme
- completed an action plan
You can apply for up to £15,000. This funding is made possible thanks to Dormant Assets Funding.

What happens after you apply
We’ll aim to get back to you with a decision within 4 weeks. During that time:
- we’ll review your idea and carry out some checks on the information you’ve given us
- we might call you to talk through your application or ask for more details
- you can read more about the checks we carry out
If your application is successful:
- we’ll email you to let you know
- once you send us a bank statement, we’ll pay the funding into your account within 14 days
Starting your project
You can start your project as soon as you’ve received the funding. It must begin within 3 months of the date we offered the grant.
If you’re not sure about your start date, speak to your funding officer.
You should deliver the project as set out in your application, unless we’ve agreed to any changes.
We may check in with you from time to time to see how your project is going. You’ll need to agree to our terms and conditions before you start.

- tell your local community
- share updates on social media
- speak to local press
We’ll also help spread the word by sharing stories and press announcements.
