Who cannot apply

We do not accept applications from:

• individuals
• sole traders
• organisations based outside the UK
• companies that can pay profits to directors, shareholders or members (including Companies Limited by Shares)
• organisations applying to more than one of our programmes for the same project at the same time. We cannot provide duplicate funding for the same project through another of our programmes. It’s OK to apply again through a different programme if your previous application was unsuccessful

Getting help with your application

Do not use a private business or consultant to write your application. We will not accept them.
Some may claim they work with us or are approved by us, this is not true.

You can get help from trusted support organisations, like your local authority or County Voluntary Council (CVC). They can give advice and support with writing your application.
