We’re looking for another 4 young people who are passionate about the environment and nature to join our Youth Voice Advisor Team.
The roles will work with the UK Portfolio team, working with projects right across the UK.
By joining you’ll:
work as part of a team to ensure Youth Voice is represented in the Climate Action Fund’s grant making
develop future funding opportunities for youth organisations and young people
shape processes for Youth Voice to be included within the Climate Action Fund
be an ambassador for The National Lottery Community Fund at related events promoting our Youth Voice and climate, environment and nature work
To be eligible
You must be:
aged 18 to 25
based in the UK – we're looking for one person based in each country of the UK (Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England)

The experience we are looking for
This includes:
involvement in your local community
knowledge of your community’s needs, especially in relation to environment and nature, and how children and young people are impacted
being an ambassador
managing a project
What you'll get

Time commitment and payment
We want this role to be accessible and manageable alongside other commitments such as work, study or caring responsibilities.
We ask you to commit to:
around 10 hours a month
regular online meetings with some in-person meetings and events throughout the year
You will need to be able to commit to the role from September 2026 until the end of August 2027.
Youth Voice Advisors get paid £22 an hour. They also get travel and subsistence expenses.
