Download the Young Start logo
As part of your grant with us, we ask you to use the logo where you can. Displaying our logo will show people who benefit from your work that you have received funding from Young Start. Only projects that have been awarded a grant from Young Start can use this logo, so we hope you will see it as a recognition of your success.
Using our logo
Wherever possible, you should use this logo on any materials you produce, like posters or leaflets. You should also show it on your website if you have one.
Logo artwork
Please use the logo exactly as it is, as we have designed the logo to work as a single piece of artwork. Please do not alter or remove any part of it, including changing the colours or cropping the white space around the logo.
If you have any trouble accessing this, just email us and we will do our best to help: branding@tnlcommunityfund.org.uk
Which version?
The logo is available in full colour or greyscale. We prefer you to use the colour one unless this is more expensive for you to print.
It is available in two file formats. We recommend the ‘JPEG’ format for most day-to-day uses, including things like word documents, websites or social media.
We have also provided an ‘EPS’ format, sometimes referred to as a ‘vector’ file. This file will only work in professional design software, and should be used for large-scale print and merchandise (e.g. banners, pop-up stands, large vehicle stickers).
Not too small
We want the logo to be readable and recognisable. So please make sure that it is not smaller than 30mm in height on any printed material.
If you use it on your website, please make sure it is large enough to be clearly legible.
Notes for editors
If you are doing promotional work, such as sending out press releases, or if you would like a standard piece of text for your annual report or website, please use the text below, as it gives accurate information about The National Lottery Community Fund and the Young Start programme.
Young Start aims to create opportunities for Scotland’s children and young people aged eight to 24 to help them realise their full potential. Young Start is a grants programme run by The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money from dormant bank accounts. Dormant accounts are deposits of money in bank and building society accounts where there has been no activity for 15 years or more.
