What happens after you apply
- We review your application against our priorities and criteria.
- We will tell you within 8 weeks if you are invited to the next stage. This could take longer if we receive many applications.
- If invited, we will ask for more information and complete some checks. This may be by phone, email or in person. Learn more about our checks.
- We use this information to make a decision. This stage can take 8 to 12 weeks, but we will aim to decide sooner if possible.
- If successful, we will contact you with the good news. If unsuccessful, we will give you feedback.
- If you're unsuccessful, please don’t reapply. We will not assess repeat applications.
If your application is successful
We will talk with you about next steps. Before we can pay funding, you must:
- send us a bank statement dated within the last 3 months so we can check the account
- sign and return our funding agreement
You will also need to take part in activities we arrange to share and develop the partnership.

If you work with adults at risk, children or young people
You must have a policy that explains how you will keep them safe. If you get funding, you will also need to follow our safeguarding expectations for children and adults at risk.
