Fairer Life Chances
- Project location: Scotland
- Amount: £20,001 to £500,000
- A decision in: 12 weeks
- Programme status: Open to applications
This funding is for projects that support children, young people and families. Or help people be healthier and have better access to support.
The outcomes your project must achieve
We’re looking for projects that achieve at least one of these outcomes:
- children, young people and families to thrive
- people have better relationships, connections and physical or mental health
Meeting both outcomes will not improve your chances of getting funding. Projects should also support people experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination.
For more details, see 'What we want to fund'.
Design your project with the people you support
Your project should be designed with the people it’s for, not just delivered to them. This means:
- involving them in how the project is developed, delivered and led
- making use of their existing skills and interests
- complementing and connecting with other services that support them
How much you can apply for
We fund new or existing projects, from organisations of all sizes and levels of experience.
You can apply for £20,001 to £500,000 for up to 5 years.
We expect most grants we give will be for:
- £250,000 or less
- £100,000 if your organisation has not had long-term funding before (2 years or more)
We’ll discuss the length and amount of funding you can apply for when you get in touch.
