Annalong Over 60s group

Annalong Over 60s group is using a £10,598 grant over two years to buy equipment and run a programme of activities including crafts, gardening, exercise classes, day trips, social events and weekly lunches. The project will bring people together to reduce isolation and help with cost of living challenges. 

Ballylone Purple Guards

Ballylone Purple Guards, based in Ballynahinch, is using a £19,800 grant over one year to make improvements to their hall to make it more accessible for the local community to use. Work will include replacing the floor and making the building more wheelchair accessible. 

Camlough Community Association Limited

Camlough Community Association Limited is using a £19,500 grant over two years to run a programme of activities including seasonal events, summer schemes and gardening workshops. The project will bring the local community together to learn new skills and reduce isolation. 

Camlough Men’s Shed

Camlough Men’s Shed is using a £19,999 grant over two years to buy equipment and develop a community garden with raised beds and a greenhouse. The project will create community connection, teach people new skills, improve well-being and provide local organic produce. 

The Carnagat Area Community Association

The Carnagat Area Community Association, based in Newry, is using a £19,000 grant over two years to run a programme of activities for people of all ages in the local community including health sessions, craft workshops and reminiscence activities. The project will bring people together to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing. 

Claragh Bridge Vintage Club

Claragh Bridge Vintage Club, based in County Down, is using a £7,890 grant to buy a marquee tent to use at local community events. 

Crisis Café CIC

Crisis Café CIC, based in Newry, is using a £20,000 grant over one year to create a sensory room to help young people regulate their emotions, improve focus and reduce anxiety and stress.  

Down Special Olympics Club

Down Special Olympics Club, based in Downpatrick, is using a £20,000 grant over two years to run a programme of activities for young people with intellectual disabilities including swimming, obstacle courses, golf and healthy living training on food and nutrition. The project will bring people together to learn new skills, reduce isolation and improve wellbeing. 

Killyleagh and District Men's Shed

Killyleagh and District Men's Shed is using a £19,329 grant over one year to purchase equipment and to install a polytunnel to establish a vegetable patch. The project will provide a welcoming space for men to come together to reduce isolation and learn new skills. 

Killyleagh Coastal Rowing Club

Killyleagh Coastal Rowing Club is using a £20,000 grant over one year to buy a safety boat to increase confidence and security during activities on Strangford Lough. 

LGBTQ+ Women's Group Newry

LGBTQ+ Women's Group Newry is using a £20,000 grant over one year to run Newry Pride 2025 to celebrate the local LGBTQ+ community, promote support networks and help people feel included. 

The Mourne Mamas group

The Mourne Mamas group, based in Kilkeel, is using a £10,000 grant over one year to run a series of workshops and talks for local mothers making up its membership. The project will reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and create a welcoming, supportive space for mothers to connect and learn. 

Mourne Stimulus

Mourne Stimulus, based in Kilkeel, is using a £20,000 grant over one year to develop an unused outdoor space and turn it into a community garden. The project will create a space where people can enjoy being outside and build their confidence and skills. 

Newry Indian Arts Club

Newry Indian Arts Club is using a £6,500 grant to run Newry Mela multicultural festival in September 2025. The project will celebrate cultural diversity, inclusion, and community spirit, showcasing a mix of music, dance, food, arts, crafts, and performances. 

Newry Street Unite Ltd

Newry Street Unite Ltd, based in Kilkeel, is using a £15,450 grant over two years to run after school activities and create a Social Return on Investment report to sustain and develop their services. The project will bring young people together to develop relationships and reduce isolation. 

Newtownhamilton Community Association

Newtownhamilton Community Association is using a £19,750 grant over two years to run a programme of activities including a weekly youth club, annual summer schemes and regular community events. The project will bring local people together to improve wellbeing and reduce isolation. 

Rural Health Partnership

Rural Health Partnership, based in Culllyhana, is using a £19,800 grant over two years to renovate an unused poly tunnel and develop a community garden. The project will bring people together to enjoy nature and learn new skills. 

Saintfield Hen Shed

Saintfield Hen Shed is using a £10,410 grant over two years to organise a programme of activities including workshops in glass etching, silver smithing, pottery, art and African drumming. The project will bring people together to learn new skills and reduce isolation. 

Spa Masonic Lodge

Spa Masonic Lodge, based near Ballynahinch, is using a £19,300 grant over five months to make improvements to their hall to make it more accessible to the local community. Work will include new windows and doors. 

St. Bronagh's Youth Club

St. Bronagh's Youth Club, based in Rostrevor, is using a £19,800 grant over two years to run a programme of activities for young people including boxing, netball, dance, football, arts and crafts, swimming and bowling. The project will build new relationships and improve physical and mental wellbeing. 

The City of Newry University of the Third Age

The City of Newry University of the Third Age is using a £19,535 grant over one year to buy equipment and run a programme of activities including craft and fitness workshops. The project will bring local older people together to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing. 

Warrenpoint Friendship Club

Warrenpoint Friendship Club is using a £13,300 grant over 16 months to buy equipment and run a programme of activities for local older people. The project will bring people together to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing. 

The Reivers Festival Society

The Reivers Festival Society, based in Kilkeel, is using a £20,000 grant over one year to run a series of celebration events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the VE Day. The project will bring the community together to learn about the past and reduce isolation. 

The Road Ahead NI

The Road Ahead NI, based in Newry, is using a £20,000 grant over one year to run a programme of support for people affected by road traffic collisions. The project will address grief, trauma, PTSD, mental health, isolation and loneliness through therapeutic and support services. 

The Sanctuary Newry Group

The Sanctuary Newry Group is using a £4,500 grant over one year to run weekly drop-in sessions including art, craft and physical activity workshops and information sessions. The project will bring people together to improve their mental wellbeing and access support. 

The Well, based in Kilkeel

The Well, based in Kilkeel, is using a £19,138 grant over one year to run The Great Sleep Reset as part of their suicide prevention work in the local community.  The project will provide sleep monitoring, sleep plans and therapeutic interventions to address the root causes of emotional distress and instability. 

Unit T, based in Newcastle

Unit T, based in Newcastle, is using an £18,453 grant over two years to run a programme of activities for local young people including arts, cookery and physical activity sessions. The project will teach young people new skills and improve their wellbeing.

Warrenpoint Women’s Group is using a £20,000 grant over two years to run a programme of activities including day trips, social events and workshops. The project will bring people together to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
